Code Computerlove (www.codecomputerlove.co.uk) is a full service digital marketing agency offering website design and build, re-building, maintenance and e-marketing.
The company’s offices on Jutland Street, off Ducie Street in Manchester, were designed by Andrew Wallace Architects.
Inspired by Code’s corporate identity and colour scheme, the design ensures that all 48 members of staff feel part of the Code team and work to the Code ethos. Moreover, the curvaceous interior and fluidity allow for a spatial flow that enhances co-operation, communication, creativity and visual stimulus.
According to Andrew Wallace Architects: “The fit out of the basement shell originates from Code’s organisational concepts and structures. The manifestation expressed itself physically as an interior landscape that rejects the typical grid uniform pattern of the more traditional office environment in favour of extended linear group gradient fields.”
The offices have already won best commercial interior at the 2007 Manchester Society of Architects (MSA) Awards and were shortlisted for a 2007 RIBA Award. But it’s not just the building that’s scooping accolades; the Code team now boast more than 35 industry awards in its trophy cabinet, inspired by their workspace.
Code Computerlove’s client list includes Waterstone’s, Kimberly Clark Corporation, HMV, RHM Food Services, NUS Services, BUPA, and Akzo Nobel.
